Johnson - Bob Johnson is known as the "First Bengal". The center was
drafted from the University of Tennessee. And tunred out to be a fabulous player to build
a new franchise around.
Bob Johnson played his entire pro career in a Bengals
uniform. Playing from 1968 to 1979. After his retirement, Johnsons number 54 was retired.
Bob Johnson is the only Bengals player to have such an honor bestowed on him.
